Supporting Equestrian Communities,

Enhancing barn fire safety

“We had a fire at a barn in Ireland years ago. I remember we were lucky enough to get the horses out but had no way to secure them. They ended up running for miles, and while they thankfully had no major injuries, I think the Rescue Kits are a great idea to increase safety and prevent such a situation. The addition of FireHorse Rescue as part of our community of Annual Series sponsors is a major benefit for everyone who frequents our barns and admin offices, and especially for the horses that live and show here."

Heavy duty Kits with Everything needed for

Fire Safety

and Horse Evacuation

Barn fires are an equestrian’s worst nightmare, and overall barns have high fire risk: Dust, Shavings, Hay, running fans, open breezeways. And yet there are little to no precautions taken day to day in barns to prepare for, prevent or deal with fire risk

Our solution is based on input from Professional Firefighters and lifelong equestrians.

Take your barn’s fire safety into your own hands!

About FireHorse

We are equestrians and career firefighters who are aiming to reduce fire related loss in one of our favorite places to be: the barn.

As a professional equestrians for more than 20 years, we realized that should a fire start or threaten our barn, we wouldn’t even know where to find a fire extinguisher. Obviously calling 911 is required, but in the minutes or longer until they arrive, we wanted an easy to use, easy to find set of tools that would allow anyone to prevent a fire, put out a fire in its early stages, and safely remove horses, people, or other animals.

And so FireHorse Rescue Kits were born, and we hope the specially selected and unique items ensure that your horses and barn have next level safety and you have peace of mind about your horses and property.
